With their design, practicality and quality,
GIVI products have won over the German and Austrian markets

The appeal of GIVI-branded products is spreading, all the way over the Alps and into the hearts of the thousands of enthusiasts who packed out the Messe Friedrichshafen in recent weeks. Here in the German city of Friedrichshafen, perched on the picturesque shores of Lake Constance, the 2024 edition of the Motorradwelt Bodensee was held: the largest trade fair dedicated to the motorcycle sector in all southern Germany.

Our own Filippo Lera takes the wheel at the GIVI stand

Proudly flying the flag for the Brescia-based company was Filippo Lera, our export area manager, giving him the chance to interact with many lovers of the world of motorcycling. Bikers from northern Europe in general, and German-speaking nations in particular, traditionally pay close attention to the design, practicality and quality of all products to be installed on their two-wheeled vehicles.

The recap

“To make a comparison Italians will understand, the Friedrichshafen fair is sort of like the German EICMA: an opportunity to come together, to make new discoveries and to learn more about the innovations the market has launched in our sector over the last year”, explains Filippo. “It was a real pleasure to work surrounded by so much passion: the same passion that has made the GIVI brand a benchmark for all motorcyclists for 45 years. Our team brought great enthusiasm to answering the many questions we got about the new products we were able to present, like the special bag for our four-legged friends and the vast range of products boasting our brand, which by now are well known and present all over the world”.

In short, the experience was an enriching one in every aspect. “You get a lot out of events like these: from professional contacts to suggestions from our clients, and never forgetting the essential, ongoing personal relationship that our company fosters every single day with the people who choose our accessories and equipment”, concludes Filippo. “After an experience like this, you can return home with immense satisfaction in the knowledge that the German market, with its fairs, was able to respond in a really positive way to our output, which will continue to satisfy the market’s needs”.
